Barcelona right-back Nelson Semedo breached the protocol in place -- both in terms of the general government and guidance and LaLiga's rules -- to manage the spread of coronavirus, according to Cuatro.

The report has had access to images of a celebration attended by the Portugal international in Castelldefels, just outside of Barcelona, along with more than 20 people, all without masks and without social distancing.

This area is currently in Phase 2 of Spain's de-escalation of the lockdown, which limits meeting to know more than 15 people. La Liga, meanwhile, recommend that players take no risks and limit their social contact strictly to those who they live with.

Sources at Barça told EFE that the player attended said celebration "without the knowledge" of the club and that they will deal with the negligent behaviour "internally."
