Denis Suarez sits out Barcelona training ahead of Arsenal loan move

Denis Suarez has not featured regularly under Ernesto Valverde and has looked for a move away from Barcelona in January in search of more minutes. 

A loan move to option has always been his preferred move, but there have been some obstacles to overcome. But things have now been sorted and he's set to move to the Premier League club once he's extended his deal at Camp Nou until 2021. 

There are a few details to resolve but Denis is set to join Arsenal on loan until the end of the season. The English club will maintain an option to sign him in the summer. 

In fact, the move is so far down the line that Barça allowed him to miss training on Wednesday. Prior to that, he had said goodbye to his teammates.
