The injured duo headed back home from the United States after suffering injuries
Not everything that happened in Barcelona's penalty win over Tottenham was positive. Ernesto Valverde lost Denis Suarez and Andre Gomes to hamstring injuries, the former for two to three weeks, the latter for two months. Both players have left the US to go home and recover from their respective injuries.
Denis went off against Spurs after 17 minutes, replaced by Carles Perez, who did well in his stead. Gomes went off five minutes later for the same problem and was replaced by Riqui Puig, who has a lot of potential.
