The Frenchman will be able to board the plane with the rest of the squad for the pre-season tour of the United States

If there are no last-minute changes, Ousmane Dembélé is scheduled to sign his new contract tomorrow, which will extend his time as a Barça player until June 30, 2024. The two parties reached a definitive agreement last week. The Frenchman, a free agent since July 1st, ended up accepting a downgraded offer from the same club, and a new contract for two seasons.

The club had been recently working on drawing up and drafting a contract for Dembélé, the terms of which would have him earn around 40% less than what he was receiving until June 30, but which will also have a significant amount of incentives depending on the performance of the Gallic winger. The expectation at Barça is that the contracts will be reviewed today by the two parties, and tomorrow the French attacker will finish signing the same. The club's president, Joan Laporta will accompany the striker during the event. Laporta will spend today in Olot, first presiding over a new meeting of the board of directors and then attending the first preseason match that Xavi Hernandez's team plays against UE Olot.

While waiting for the signing of the contract, Dembélé continues to train at FC Barcelona's facilities. He already did so on Tuesday and joined the team for the same this morning as well. According to reports from the club, the Frenchman asked for permission to use the facilities of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and Barça has given it to him.

Once he signs his new contract, the striker will be able to train with the group without any problems and will be able to board the plane to the United States to take part in the pre-season tour that Xavi's team will carry out in Miami, Las Vegas, Dallas and New York.
