A move to Manchester United failed to materialise on Monday

FC Barcelona returned to training on Tuesday at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper in Sant Joan Despí with Ousmane Dembele back working with his teammates.

Dembele didn't train on Monday despite turning ip at the training ground in the morning, instead returning home before the sessions started.

The French forward didn't feel great, according to the club. However, he was also in the middle of a transfer saga that took up most of Deadline Day on Monday.

Barça wanted to transfer him -- or at least loan him with a fee and an option to buy -- to Manchester United. But there was no agreement in the end and he remains at Camp Nou.

On Tuesday, Dembele and the rest of his non-international teammates took part in a session under Ronald Koeman which saw Javier Garcia Pimienta's B team join in, too.

Barcelona will train again on Wednesday but the players will then have four days off before returning to work on Monday. With the international break, the next game is not until Oct. 17/18, when they travel to Getafe in La Liga.
