Reports claim the Ajax starlet will joing the French league leaders

According to Dutch paper 'De Telegraaf', Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong will choose to move to Paris Saint-Germain out of all the clubs chasing him, among them FC Barcelona.

The Dutch media says an agreement was reached on Thursday between PSG and De Jong at a meeting in Amserdam.

De Jong has supposedly given Ajax the green light to negotiate his future. The French club, whose sporting director Antero Henrique attended the meeting, will agree to pay around 75 million euros to do the deal.

Barça's handicap, as is also the case with De Jong's teammate Matthjis De Ligt,  is financial, as it's difficult to match what their competitors will pay.

If there's an agreement between De Jong and PSG, with Ajax's blessing, it seems the Dutch internationals future is set for the Parc des Principes.
