De la Red: "Antoine Griezmann has the profile for Barca"
The former Real Madrid player thinks Atletico's star would fit in at the Camp Nou
Ruben De la Red, the former Real Madrid player, says Antoine Griezmann has the profile to play at Barcelona, although he said he sees it hard for them to sign the Atletico Madrid star.
"I think that Griezmann could have the profile to play at Barcelona. He likes combination play and has mobility, but I see it hard for him to join because they signed Coutinho and Dembele, and have Messi and Suarez. It's hard for him to go without a place assured."
A FAILURE
He also hit out at Atletico's Champions League group stage elimination.
"For Atletico, with what they've done in recent years, it's a failure for them to be knocked out. It's a hard blow. In La Liga they are fighting for second and should be there until the end of the season (in the UCL) for their growth in the last few years and the signings like Diego Costa and Vitolo."
