De Jong gives his opinion on the current members of Barça's squad
The new signing at FC Barcelona spoke about his future teammates and, unsurprisingly, said Messi was "the best of all time"
Frenkie De Jong, who will be the first arrival at Barça for the 2019/20 season, has spoken to the club's media channels and amongst other things gave his opinion on the current FC Barcelona squad.
The midfielder primarily spoke about those who play in the midfield but also went on to give his take on the key members of Valverde's team.
Messi: “I feel emotional. I can't wait to play with him. He's the best player of all time. He's the most complete. He can do everything, with or without the ball. He creates so many opportunities and has an incredible left foot. He's so intelligent.. he's on another level."
Coutinho: “He's incredibly talented. He's got so many qualities and is really good at shooting using the inside of his foot."
Busquets: “He's incredible. He's the best defensive midfielder in the world. He's got extraordinary vision. I can't wait to play alongside him, only to watch and learn from him."
Rakitic: “He's incredible and he's had a fantastic career. He's one of the best midfielders in the world. He can shoot, is tactically very strong and is great technically.”
Arthur: “He's a great talent. He's a very good player with the ball. I like him a lot."
Arturo Vidal: “He's very strong and has a lot of energy. He can score goals and defend like the best. He's a very complete midfielder."
Aleñá: “He's very talented. He's got a magicial left foot and is great dribbler. He's got a lot of quality."
