Many Barcelona supporters dream of seeing Riqui Puig and Frenkie de Jong together in the middle of the pitch as the Catalan club build for the future.
With Arturo Vidal and Sergio Busquets both suspended, and Arthur Melo in exile, that could become reality against Napoli on Saturday.
De Jong is among those who are fans of Puig, who impressed after the lockdown in La Liga, and believes he's ready for regular action at Barça.
"For me, he's more than ready to be a starter for Barça, but it doesn't depend on me," De Jong told SPORT. "We have a lot of good player that can start games, so it's a question for the coach. For me, he has tremendous talent."
Barça coach Quique Setién showed increasingly at the end of the season that he is more prepared to use Puig. We will see how big a role he has for him in the Champions League.
