David Alaba not surprised by Lewandowski's instant impact at Barça

Austrian centre-back David Alaba has not been surprised by the impact of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski at FC Barcelona. The Real Madrid defender knows the Blaugrana perfectly well, from their time together at Bayern Munich, and acknowledged in an interview with the portal 'Real Total'.
"I'm not surprised with Lewy. I know him very well from my time in Munich. What he is doing in Spain I was able to experience firsthand for years in Munich. He is one of the best strikers in the world and he has proved it time and time again in recent years, and he is proving it again this season".
Alaba will be reunited with his former teammate in the Clasico on October 16, which he believes will be "without a doubt a highlight".
Despite everything, the Austrian centre-back is betting on France's Karim Benzema for the Ballon d'Or.
"If you look at his last season, what he did is incredible. I'm very grateful to now be able to experience it firsthand and to be a part of it, and to see him work every day," he argued.
