Dani Olmo is spoilt for choice after stellar performances for Spain

The chances of him returning to Barça appear slim because Olmo wants regular playing time

Alongside Fabian, Ceballos and Marc Roca it proved to be the perfect tournament for Dani Olmo. The Spaniard, who left the country in search of regular playing time, is now ready for a return - but it most likely won't be at FC Barcelona.

The midfielder has around two weeks off to consider his future and what his next move will be. Dinamo Zagreb, the team he currently plays for, are expecting him to return for preseason training but it's hard to see that happening. The player wants to play in a more established league and a considerable fee would help Zagreb out too.

The only unknown at this point is where he'll end up. Barcelona were expected to meet with his agent last week but that was cancelled due to the same agent needing to be in London to discuss Alvaro Morata's move to Atletico Madrid. Olmo values playing time over money and it's hard to see where he would get that at Barça, especially if Neymar and Griezmann join this summer.

One option Olmo was interested in was Milan, but they've since been suspended from European competition. LaLiga and the Premier League are back up options but a move to Serie A or the Bundesliga appears to be the most obvious choice as the youngster looks to continue his development. In a couple of weeks time we should get the definitive answer.
