Barça signed the Brazilian winger for 40 million euros last summer but he's found playing time hard to come by at the Camp Nou

Malcom, the 21-year-old Brazilian winger at Barça, is open to leaving the Camp Nou this summer in order to play more regular football.

The forward joined Barcelona in a €40m deal from Bordeaux last summer and has a contract until 2023. The club don't want to lose the Brazilian and if they did, they'd want a return on their initial investment.

Ernesto Valverde made it clear Malcom's signing was one made by the club and not one he'd personally asked for. That's been proven in how little the winger has played this season: a total of 19 matches and only 8 as a starter. Malcom is frustrated by his situation and that's why he wants a move after just 12 months.

Malcom's agents are searching for the right destination in Europe and Italy appears to be the most obvious option. Roma, Inter and AC Milan are all interested in the winger. However the change in circumstances has alerted both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal and they have the financial power to move ahead of the Serie A sides.

Barça are only open to letting Malcom go if someone offers €40m. According to ESPN FC, sources close to the club said this: "He's had the chance to leave for a while and we have to respect his decision. But Barça won't loan him out."
