The defender joined Premier League side Brighton for just under 20 million in the summer

Marc Cucurella, currently playing for Brighton after the Premier League side paid 18 million euros for him in the summer, has told DAZN he would like to return to Barcelona at some point in his career.

Cucurella came through at Barça before spells with Eibar and Getafe which led to his move to England this past summer.

"I spent many years at Barça and we could say it's my home or my family ot that of my partner, who's from Barcelona," the defender told DAZN.

"I have unfinished business because I made my debut in the first team but I was never able to play for the club at Camp Nou and I think it's something I would like to do before I retire."

With a contract until 2026, Cucurella is a key player in the Brighton project with the team in the top half of the Premier League after a good start to the season.
