Cristiano Ronaldo out of Barça game as still positive for coronavirus
The Juventus forward tested positive for a third time
Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Wednesday's Champions League game against Barcelona after testing positive for coronavirus again.
Ronaldo first tested positive for the virus while on international with Portugal earlier this month. On Tuesday, he returned a third positive test.
Therefore, due to UEFA protocol, he will not be able to play in this week's game against Lionel Messi and Barcelona.
The forward has missed Juve's last three games, two in Serie A and one in the Champions League, since first testing positive on Oct. 13.
Everyone had been hopeful that he would resume his rivalry with Messi this week but he will now have to wait until the return match at Camp Nou later this year.
