The Argentine advised his compatriot to stay in black and blue

Former Argentina striker Hernán Crespo thinks that his compatriot Lautaro Martinez should stay at Inter Milan "at least three more years" to complete his growth into a top striker.

"I tell him that he should stay at Inter, without a doubt. The reason is simple. He did well in Argentina with Racing Avellaneda, arrived at Inter and was Mauro Icardi's back-up in the first season, and now is a fixed starter," Crespo told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"This is his first season as a fixed starter. It's not much to go on to decide to change his life and move to Barcelona. He needs at least three years to complete his growth, then he can think about changing teams."

Lautaro, 22, scored 16 goals in 31 games this season. He has a deal until 2023 and a 111m euro release clause.
