Coutinho's agent: "Liverpool is in his heart"
The Barça midfielder's agent said that Coutinho would find it hard to play for one of Liverpool's competitors
Philippe Coutinho's return to first team action is just around the corner. After more than nine months sidelined, the Brazilian playmaker will soon make his return to first team action. He is expected to be included in Barça's squad for this weekend's fixture against Getafe.
FC Barcelona had tried to arrange a move for the player this summer, but no satisfactory offer was forthcoming. What's more, his agent, Kia Joorabchian, has stated that his player did not want to listen to offers from Premier League teams due to his love for his former side.
"I think that Liverpool is deeply rooted in his heart. He was an avid follower during last season and he wanted them to win the title. He is a big fan of the club", he said, before adding "Philippe would find it very difficult to play for one of Liverpool's rivals".
