The Brazilian would prefer England but is also open to Italian interest

Philippe Coutinho and his people have spent weeks monitoring the market after learning that FC Barcelona will not count on him next season if Bayern Munich opt not to take up their option to sign him permanently.

The Brazilian, through his agents, has made it clear to Barça that he will not fight against leaving again in the summer. The Catalan club hope a transfer may even bring in some cash.

However, Coutinho has asked that the club let him choose his own destination this time around after being sent to Bayern at the end of the transfer window last August.

COUTINHO & ENGLAND

Coutinho's priority is to return to the Premier League but he's not thought about a specific club yet. Chelsea and Arsenal would be his preferences, along with Manchester City, although Pep Guardiola's team haven't shown interest yet.

The former Liverpool man doesn't want to go to Manchester United and Tottenham would be his final option as he was left angered by how they acted last summer. Spurs wanted him to drop his wages at the final moment and, in the end, backtracked on their original offer.

Coutinho wants to relaunch his career in England but Inter have also called. However, if he moves to Italy, he would prefer to sign for Juventus. He would also continue at Bayern, although it looks like they won't take up their 120 million option to buy.
