The Brazilian is still hopeful of a January move to Barcelona

He has been registered in Liverpool's Champions League squad

Philippe Coutinho's anger with Liverpool is monumental. The Brazilian has still not diested the club's attitude during the negotiations with Barcelona over a transfer. And now, with the market closed and his dream of moving to Camp Nou on hold, he's pallning to take radical measures. One of them, SPORT have learned, is to not play in the Champions League group stage.

With this decision, Coutinho will not block himself from playing for another club in the last 16, which begins in February. The Brazilian has not changed his mind and still wants to leave Liverpool, despite the failed move to Barça this summer. As of today, he's not ruled out making the switch in January.

Liverpool, meanwhile, announced on Monday that the midfielder had been included in their Champions League squad, with Jurgen Klopp's side set to face Sevilla, Spartak Moscow and Maribor. From the outside, the English club appear to be acting with total normality, but they are aware that something has changed in their relationship with Coutinho.
