The Brazilian could be involved this weekend when Barça travel to the Wanda

Good news for Ronald Koeman: Philippe Coutinho completed a full training session on Tuesday and is on target to make his comeback from injury this weekend against Atletico Madrid.

The Brazilian midfielder has been out for several weeks with a hamstring injury but returned to light training on Monday and has now stepped up his recovery.

If there are no setbacks this week, Coutinho will be ready for Saturday's huge La Liga game at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Barça are currently training with a reduced group of players due to the international break. The first players due back are the United States internationals Sergiño Dest and Konrad de la Fuente, who have no further games with their country following Monday's win over Panama.

The rest of the players will return gradually throughout the week, with Martin Braithwaite, Frenkie de Jong, Miralem Pjanic and Lionel Messi the last due back.

Messi is playing in Peru on Tuesday, Wednesday morning CET time, and will not be back in training with Barça until Thursday.
