The midfielder will travel with the first team despite contract dispute

Paris Saint-Germain travelled to Qatar on Sunday, where they will take part in a short tour over the next four days.

Among the delegation that have travelled is French midfielder Adrien Rabiot, despite the fact he's currently frozen out of first team duties due to the dispute over his contract. Thomas Tuchel, the PSG coach, though, decided to take him to Qatar.

In addition to Rabiot, Tuchel has also taken Presnel Kimpembe, who will continue his recovery from an injury in Doha. The only player to remain in Paris is Lassana Diarra.

"Adri is coming with us," the coach revealed after Saturday's win in Ligue 1 over Amiens.

Rabiot's not played for PSG since Dec. 5 but he will take part in the five training sessions planned for Qatar. He's not playing because he's refused to sign a new deal. His terms expire in the summer and he will be free to leave the club, with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Tottenham all keen on him.

As well as the training sessions, the PSG players will also take part in various commerical activities while they are in Doha, including a visit to one of the stadiums set to host the World Cup in 2022.
