Clement Lenglet likely to be the first to leave Barcelona in Operation Exit

The French defender has not been key for the club for some time and is willing to depart

At Barcelona they admit that their hopes of moving players on are struggling, but this week there could be some important news.

There are two players with high salaries on the exit ramp and one of them is Clement Lenglet. For weeks he has said that he will not make things hard for his club, as long as his salary is respected in any potential deal. This can only be done if he is loaned out with an option to buy.

Various clubs are interested in Lenglet, but Barcelona want a side who will pay his whole salary. He costs around 10m euros a year. There are some offers that work and he could decide soon.

In recent weeks Olympique Marseille and Tottenham have been linked. The latter are not keen on paying high salaries, even though they need a left sided centre-back. In Italy it seems Inter and Juve are paying close attention. Barcelona are convince d that soon he will go, and if Mingueza and Umtiti follow, there is space to sign a centre-back.
