The show in Barcelona has been a success in the first month

One month after its worldwide premiere, the Cirque du Soleil show 'Messi 10' is about to hit 100,000 viewers, it has been announced this weekend.

The creators of the show say it has been a huge success in the Catalan city and they have extended its stay until Jan. 4, 2020.

"We launched on Oct. 10 and we are very proud," said creative director Sean McKeown. The premiere was incredible, with a lot of people, and since then it's been one success after another.

"It's magnificent how the public interacts with the show and when they come they. say: I've enjoyed it a lot because it was as if I was at a football match!"

There's still time to see the show, which fuses the circus with football with Messi at Parc del Forum in Barcelona before it moves to Argentina (Buenos Aires) later in 2020.
