Cillessen is in Valencia to undergo a medical ahead of his transfer
The Dutch keeper is on the verge of securing his move to Valencia, which should see Neto confirm his transfer to Barça
FC Barcelona goalkeeper, Jasper Cillessen, is currently in Valencia undergoing a medical before completing his switch to the LaLiga side. This is according to Valencia-based journalist Héctor Gómez (@Generaldepie_).
The Dutch stopper is expected to swap places with Neto, who will join Barça for the 2019/20 season.
Neto will join as the backup to first-choice Marc-Andre ter Stegen. His transfer should be official on Tuesday. Cillessen is looking forward to more regular football and has been promised the number one shirt at Valencia.
The value of the transfer is around €25m but, whilst the deals are dependant on the other, they will technically be listed as separate deals. Neto's move to Barça will be announced first so it's included in the 2018/19 accounts. Cillessen's switch will be after the 1st July as to count towards the 2019/20 budget.
