In an interview with 'VTBL' the goalkeeper said he was worried about the high asking price put on his head
Jasper Cillessen is desperate to move on this summer but it isn't going quite as smoothly as he would've liked. Barça are demanding a certain fee and until that is reached, they won't let the goalkeeper go.
"The fact Barça are asking for 60 million euros doesn't help. I'm still relaxed about it. We just need to wait and see," the stopper told VTBL.
However it appears a decision on his future won't be coming any time soon. "I'll consider my options after my summer holiday. But I'm looking for a club in one of the top five leagues in Europe," hinting that Benfica is his preferred destination.
Benfica have so far offered Barça just €25m and that was swiftly rejected. The goalkeeper will be hoping that his words soften the club's stance and continue negotiations with the Portuguese giants.
