Chumi the only Barça B player to train with the first team
The centre-back has become third choice to Pique and Lenglet
The only Barcelona B player to train with the first team on Friday was Juan Brandariz Movilla, better known as 'Chumi'. He could be in the squad against Sevilla.
Ernesto Valverde is short in the middle of defence. Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen are missing. Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet are his only options.
Therefore, the coach has called up Chumi for training throughout the week and that was again the case on Friday.
Barça have a tough week. In Saturday they host league leaders Sevilla, then on Wednesday they welcome Inter Milan before meeting Real Madrid at Camp Nou next Sunday.
"Oriol Busquets and Chumi have been training with us this week from the B team," Valverde said of his options.
"Other options in the team are Sergio Busquets or one of the full-backs. We will look for solutions if we need them. It's an important game this weekend and next week, so it's possible we will need help from the B team."
