Chiringuito: Neymar willing to wait until 2022 to join Barcelona for free
If Barça turn down the chance to sign him for free next year, he will renew with PSG
Neymar's name is back on the scene just when it seemed all the soap operas surrounding his future were over. Diari ARA reported at the weekend that the forward's people have transmitted his desire to return to Barcelona and reunite with Lionel Messi to new president Joan Laporta.
Neymar believes Messi will not leave Barça, so wants to return to Camp Nou to play with the Argentine again. On Sunday, Chiringuito assured that the Brazilian is even ready to wait a season to join Barça for free in 2022 when his contract expires with Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Telefoot have since revealed the details of the current agreement between Neymar and PSG to extend his deal. The numbers were agreed in January, but the situation has changed since then and the new terms haven't been signed.
Neymar doesn't think Messi will join PSG next season and is now reluctant to renew. Chiringuito say Neymar would even be willing to see out another year in Paris if that's what it takes before joining Barça for free in 2022. To find out if that would be a viable situation, the player's people contacted Laporta. If Barça turn down the chance to sign him, he will proceed to renew with PSG.
