Chelsea move ahead of Barca in race for Monaco's Badiashile
The French defender is of interest to the Catalans but the Blues are after him
Chelsea are moving quickly in the winter market. After signing Andrey Santos and David Datro Fofana, the next player they are after is Monaco’s Benoit Badiashile. The 21-year-old defender could arrive for 35-40 million euros.
He’s one of the defenders that Barca like the most. He has great physical capacity and is also strong at bringing the ball out from the back.
He’s still a defender with a lot to learn and is capable of errors. Chelsea are looking for a defender who could potentially be top but is still in development.
Chelsea signed Vasco midfielder Santos for just 20 million euros.
