Antonio Conte's side will take on Barça in the next round

The return leg will be played at Camp Nou

Barcelona will face Chelsea in the last 16 of the Champions League after they were paired together in Monday's draw in Nyon.

The return leg will be played at Camp Nou after Ernesto Valverde's side progressed as group winners from Group D.

Meanwhile, Chelsea came second in Group C, behind Roma but ahead of Atletico Madrid, who dropped into the Europa League.

The first leg will be played at Stamford Bridge between Feb. 13 and Feb 21; the second leg at Camp Nou between March 6 and March 14.

HISTORY

It's not the first time FC Barcelona and Chelsea have met in the competition. The Andres Iniesta (Inestazo) goal in 2008-09 sent Barça into the final as they went on to win the treble.

Barça and Chelsea have met in 12 games, with Barça winning three and Chelsea winning four -- there have been five draws and both sides have scored 18 goals.

Chelsea are currently third in the Premier League with 32 points, 14 back from Manchester City as they fight to retain their crown.

Cesc Fàbregas, Pedro Rodríguez, Álvaro Morata and Thibaut Courtois are some of the players with a La Liga past in Antonio Conte's side, but their star player is Eden Hazard.
