Clos Gomez was also in charge of Barcelona's 6-0 win at Alaves, in which he didn't punish Theo for injuring Aleix Vidal

He also took charge of the first Clasico of the season, which finished 1-1

Referee Carlos Clos Gomez will take charge of the Copa del Rey final between Barcelona and Alaves on May 27 at the Vicente Calderon.

He was appointed on Thursday and was the referee in Barcelona's 6-0 win over the Vitorian side away from home. 

The forthcoming Spanish cup final will be his second, having refereed Atletico's win over Real Madrid at the Vicente Calderon in the 2012-13 season. 

The Rojiblancos won 2-1 in extra-time in a game that kicked off in the final stages. He sent off Jose Mourinhp, Madrid's then coach in the 76th minute, then Cristiano Ronaldo in the 114th and Atletico captain Gabi in the 120th. 

Clos Gomez will have support from Raúl Cabañero Martínez, as first assistant, and Diego Barbero Sevilla as second. Alejandro Hernández Hernández, will be the fourth official and Teodoro Sobrino Magán the fifth.
