Carles Aleña to make Barça squad for Athletic Club game
The midfielder won't travel to Lorca with the B team on Saturday
Barcelona B midfielder Carles Aleña could be the big surprise in Ernesto Valverde's squad this weekend for the La Liga game against Athletic Club at Camp Nou.
Aleña will be included in the squad in place of Sergio Busquets, who will be out for around three weeks after breaking a bone in his foot in the win against Chelsea in midweek.
The midfielder is an important part of Gerard Lopez's Barça B side but has not been included in the traveling party of their trip to Lorca this weekend.
Aleña is not injured and therefore is likely to train with the first team on Saturday and be named in the squad for Sunday's game against Athletic.
Remember that Aleña has not played in the league yet this season, although he has played three games in the Copa del Rey, all from the beginning.
Last weekend he scored one and assisted another as Barça B threw away a two-goal lead against Numancia, drawing 2-2 at the Mini Estadi.
