Busquets: "We've seen the Rayo move for the goal 200 times on video"
The midfielder was disappointed with another defeat at Camp Nou
Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets spoke to Movistar after his side's disappointing 1-0 defeat at Camp Nou against Rayo Vallecano, which signaled a third straight loss at home.
"We're really struggling in games at home," he said. "We concede early and we have to turn things around. The opposition grows in confidence, play with the result and if we're not effective in both boxes, it's doubly hard."
Busquets was especially angry about the Rayo goal, scored in the seventh minute: "The goals come from lapses in concentration or mistakes. We didn't start badly, but a move we've seen 200 times on video with Alvaro Garcia, who is very quick, has done us and we could not stop it."
From there, Busquets says the team "was behind, trying to speed things up, but they stood firm. Without being effective, with time-wasting... The dynamic is negative, we haven't taken advantage of the chance we had and now we're level with Sevilla."
Busquets did see a reaction "in the second half, when we crossed, got into the area, but it wasn't to be." On the penalty not given on Gavi, he steered clear of controversy: "It wasn't given and there's no going back now."
