Busquets to get Barça send off in final home game vs. Mallorca
The midfielder will play his final game at Camp Nou at the end of May
FC Barcelona have already set a date for the tribute to Sergio Busquets. The Barça captain has announced that he will not be renewing his contract and the club wants to send him off with full honours. They have already discussed it with the player and the recognition will take place on Sunday 28 May at 19.00 h. in the match against Mallorca at the Spotify Camp Nou.
For the moment, this Saturday, Busquets will receive the LaLiga trophy from the president of the Spanish Federation, Luis Rubiales. It will be the first big ovation for Sergio after he announced his departure. A golden farewell with the title under his arm.
Barça then play on Tuesday 23 May in Valladolid and the last home game will be against Mallorca on Sunday 28 May, unless the date is changed if the Balearic side have nothing to play for.

Busquets has asked for the tribute to be simple. He does not like pomposity, but the club wants to live up to a legend of Barcelona. It will be a very emotional day because of Busquets' farewell and because it will be the last game played at Spotify Camp Nou before the renovation.
