The Catalans lost to Manchester United in the Europa League on Thursday

Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets says the team will be able to turn the page on Thursday's Europa League KO to Manchester United.

Barça have already won the Supercopa, are top of LaLiga and have a Copa del Rey semifinal to come against Real Madrid.

"No, I don't think will this will take its toll," Busquets said. "We are angry because we wanted to progress, but the team are aware where we are coming from and the process that is needed.

"We are on a good path, top of LaLiga, we have the Copa del Rey (to come) ... But we can still take another step to compete better."

The midfielder said this European elimination was not like others.

"They are different eliminations (this season)," he added. "In the Champions League we had no luck in the draw, then a lot of things happened in the games, it was incredible. We also have to say we were not at the level at certain moments, we have to be self critical.

"This was totally different, a two-legged legged tie, against one of the most in-form sides in Europe, doing well in the Premier League, with great players."
