Braithwaite: I won't wash these clothes after Messi's hugs
The player enjoyed his debut as Barca beat Eibar 5-0
Lionel Messi hit four against Eibar in Barcelona's 5-0 win but Martin Braithwaite also made an impression from the bench after coming on for the final 20 minutes.
The Danish forward played his first game for the club and started well, setting up the last two goals. The first he crossed for Messi. "I won't wash my clothes after I hugged Messi," joked the Danish international. "I'm very happy to have given my first assist to Leo."
The second assist was a shot that Dmitrovic parried and Arthur finished. "I feel bad for not having scored but Dmitrovic did very well," added Braithwaite. "It was an extraordinary debut, a dream come true. When the coach called me to warm up I was a bit nervous but looking forward to getting on. Thanks to the fans for this reception."
