Bild: Klopp wants to knock out Barça in the race for De Ligt
The German newspaper believes Liverpool will look to hit Valverde's side another blow by swooping for the in-demand centre back
As if it appeared the move for Matthijs de Ligt couldn't become any more complicated, the german sportspaper 'Bild' claims that Liverpool are now in the race to sign the young Ajax captain.
Klopp has apparently said he wants De Ligt at whatever price as he looks to link him up with international teammate Van Dijk.
"Will he be the next title for Klopp?" is what the front page puts in reference to a move for De Ligt. The centre back has said he won't comment on his future until after UEFA's Nation League has concluded.
Tomorrow they take on England in the first semi-final before playing either the final or the third/fourth place play-off match on Sunday. After that De Ligt is expected to say which club he will sign for in the summer.
