Bernardeschi emerges as another wide option for Barça

Barcelona are fans of the Fiorentina winger

Juve and Bayern also have an interest in him

Federico Bernardeschi is another name Barcelona are looking at to strengthen the squad in wide areas. The talented Italian attacker could be one of the summer's big transfers with his club Fiorentina set to let him leave with his contract up in 2019 and a renewal not forthcoming. In Italy reports are that Barça have the signing under control, although the player also has offers from Juventus and Bayern Munich. He would cost around 40 million euros.

Bernardeschi is one of the most talented players to emerge in Italy in recent years. He can unlock defences, has impressive technique, a good first touch and can score goals. Without doubt he's a good player and Fiorentina have spent months trying to extend his contract, something which the player has decided to leave parked for now. Juve seem to have dropped out of the running after months of talks, though, with the imminent signing of Douglas Costa from Bayern.

Barça assure they've not made any move for the forward yet, but they're clear he's a good player. Curiously, two months ago, Blaugrana sporting director Robert Fernandez and Ariedo Braida were at Fiorentina's training ground. In theory, to speak about the future of Cristian Tello, but it's clear that Barça know all about Bernardeschi. Fiorentina decided not to keep Tello after his loan move because they didn't want to pay the nine million euros to make the deal permanent.
