The French Bayern Munich defender does not want to renew his deal in Bavaria

One of the best right-backs in the world, Benjamin Pavard, has decided not to renew his contract with Bayern Munich, which expires in 2024, preferring to look for a new club, according to reports in the French press.

FC Barcelona are looking for a right-back and he could be an option. Despite signing Hector Bellerin in the summer, they still want someone who could be the regular starter there.

Sergi Roberto and Bellerin are out of contract in 2023 and it’s quite likely that neither of them will stay.

Koudne and Araujo play there out of emergency, so the market is appealing to Barca.

Pavard, 26, is a World Cup winner and secure on that side both at the back and going forward. We will see what kind of money Bayern want for him, but Barcelona don’t have a lot to pay.
