Bellerín and Marcos Alonso's presentation is scheduled for Tuesday

FC Barcelona scrambled in the last minutes of the summer transfer window to sign Héctor Bellerín. Things were easier on the following day with Marcos Alonso after he terminated his contract with Chelsea and became a free agent.

The official presentation of both the players will take place on Tuesday at the Ciutat Esportiva.

The busy fixture schedule with no midweek breaks for a while means there are very few windows available. The current plan is for the presentation to take place on Tuesday following the press conferences previewing the first Champions League group match between FC Barcelona and Viktoria Plzen at Camp Nou.

For now, Barça have officially announced that Xavi Hernández will appear before the media on Tuesday at 12.30 p.m. and that a player, as yet unspecified, will also speak, although it is not expected to be either of the two new players.

The team will have trained earlier, at 11 am, with the first fifteen minutes open for filming, as required by UEFA.

Viktoria coach Michal Bílek will appear at 18.15 with a player in the Ricard Maxenchs press room at Camp Nou. The Czech club will train at the stadium at 19.00.

It is not usual for Barça to introduce two players at once, but Bellerín and Marcos Alonso have arrived at the last moment and exceptions will have to be made.

A similar precedent occurred in the 1999 winter transfer window when Barça signed brothers Frank and Ronald de Boer from Ajax and they were presented at the same time. Two signings that Barça had then been pursuing for a long time. The duo finally arrived to meet the request of coach Louis van Gaal.
