Bayern Munich get revenge on Barça by making official Aznou switch
The German side brought in the young defender who had grown up at La Masia
Bayern Munich published the news on Thursday that left-back Adam Aznou, coming from Barcelona's La Masia academy, will play for the Germans' youth team next season, with the option of a professional contract after that.
He is a signing that comes from Barcelona just as this summer Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski went the other way. Aznou, born in Barcelona to Moroccan parents, signed a contract for various years according to the German club's website.
He has headed to the Bayern campus and will soon be enrolled in their school to continue his studies there.
“Bayern became interested in me. I’m delighted about the move and the chance to continue my growth at this great club," said the player in a message put out by Bayern.
