Bayern Munich consider offering Barça Coutinho-like loan deal for Frenkie de Jong

Bayern Munich are reportedly looking to repeat 'Operation Coutinho' with Barça midfielder Frenkie de Jong. The Bavarians signed the Brazilian three years ago on a season-long loan with an option to buy that they did not execute.

According to Jijantes, the German giants sense a similar possibility to sign the Dutchman.

At the time, Bayern paid 8.5 million euros to Barça for the loan of Coutinho and took over his wages. The buy-out option was 120 million euros.

The Germans stand to gain a world-class player on loan and if he performs at a good level, the option to sign him permanently.
