Bayern could look at a Raphinha exchange with Barca

| sport

Bayern could enter the bidding for Raphinha if Barça finally open the door and agree to negotiate a transfer. According to 'Sky Germany', the German club would be willing to propose a player swap deal to lower the price but Kimmich would not be part of the equation. The big promoter of his arrival would be the coach, Thomas Tuchel, who already wanted Raphinha last summer for Chelsea but was left without him because he decided to play for Barça.

Raphinha is a player that Bayern like, although no decision has been made as the German club is in a total sporting crisis and the planning for the transfer has been left up in the air. Despite everything, Tuchel wants two or three top-level signings and one of the names he would have given is Raphinha if Barça would open the door to a sale.

For now, the Blaugrana seem to prioritise Raphinha's continuity although they will put him on the market if necessary. There are other sales priorities that are not being met and the club needs a million-dollar sale in order to have the margin to sign the new signings and those who have been re-signed. If necessary, Raphinha could be the one to be sacrificed as he is a player with a huge market.

Raphinha would also maintain Newcastle's interest in signing him although the player, for now, does not want to leave the club. Barça's new sporting director, Deco, will arrive in Barcelona this week and could talk to him as he still represents him. Deco made it clear to the Barça board that he would like Raphinha to stay, but that he would try to close a transfer if the club's need was at its greatest.
