The Argentine is a target for the Catalan club this summer

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu confirmed the club's interest in Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez but says talks are on hold for now.

"We spoke with Inter but things are paused at the moment," Bartomeu told TV3. "We're not talking. We have to finish the league and the Champions League and see what our priorities are.

"It's also a time for reflection to clear up how the crisis has affected the club. We're not going to see big investments in the transfer market.

"We have to see when fans are allowed back into grounds, when the tourists can fill the museum again. We have to wait and see how everything evolves."

Lautaro, 22, had a 111 million euro release clause but Barça never had any intention of paying that. They hope to include players in a deal to bring the price down.
