The German goalkeeper was unable to train on Friday due to illness

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen did not train on Friday due to a stomach problem and is a doubt for the weekend's game at Real Betis.

Gerard Pique will definitely miss the trip to Seville with tendonitis but Barça will wait on Ter Stegen, who first fell ill on Thursday, per coach Xavi Hernandez.

"Marc doesn't feel well," Xavi said Friday. "He has had a stomach problem since yesterday. We will see how he is [on Saturday]. He wants to play, but he has not felt well today and not trained."

Oscar Mingueza and Martin Braithwaite are back from Covid-19 but, along with Pique, Dest, Nico, Pedri and Sergi Roberto are all still injured.

As for Ter Stegen, Neto will come in for the German if he cannot travel, with Barça needing a win to guarantee a top four spot and a place in next season's Champions League.
