The coronavirus crisis is affecting everyone. Spain's leader Pedro Sanchez says that the country is on red alert. And, of course Barcelona are affected.

The Blagurana have tried to set an example by stopping all activity, including the museum and ice rink. The players are training alone at home with their own individual schedules.

They were spoken to yesterday by president Josep Maria Bartomeu and the head of preventative medicine from Hospital Clinic, Antoni Trilla, as well as the head of the club's working health, Jaume Padros.

"I explained to them the same as the club workers, which is what everyone is being explained," said Padros of the players. "They have understood that we are in a situation of alarm and they will take it seriously."

He told SPORT that "a lot of the players are from abroad and were worried. We explained the situation clearly to them, what they have to do, and we calmed them."

The recommendations are the same as for everyone. "Stay at home, with their families, avoid contact with a lot of people, they have understood and been very receptive. They've understood that we're trying to create a sanitary cordon to mitigate the propagation of the virus."
