Barcelona have announced the squad list for their visit to Australia with a friendly on May 25 in Sydney.

Xavi has called up 20 players for the trip. In the list are: Ter Stegen, Araujo, Busquets, Dembélé, Alves, Memphis, Ansu, Adama, Luuk de Jong, Jordi Alba, Frenkie de Jong, Umtiti, Aubameyang, Gavi, Baldé, Álvaro Sanz, Arnau Tenas, Mika Mármol, Jandro and Aranda.

One of the main absences is Ferran Torres, who cannot travel as he has not been able to complete his set of vaccinations, which contravenes Australian border laws.

The other absences are Riqui Puig and Oscar Mingueza, who have been called up by the Catalan national team to play against Jamaica in a friendly against Girona at Montilivi.

Martin Braithwaite will be with the Danish national team, while Neto and Lenglet will not go for family reasons.

Out injured are Dest, Pique, Nico, Pedri, Sergi Roberto and Eric Garcia.

The squad travelled early on Monday morning, after the clash with Villarreal on Sunday which they lost at Camp Nou.

They will face an A-League composite team at the Accor Stadium in Sydney.
