Barcelona's response to the signing of Jeremy Jorge by Real Madrid
The club say they sent the documentation in time to the player
SPORT reported Thursday that Real Madrid snuck in and signed Ferran Ruiz (Girona) and Jeremy Jorge (Las Palmas) from under Barcelona's nose.
The reason Jorge didn't sign for Barcelona was because of a delay in the sending of the paperwork.
Barcelona deny that, even though it is what sources told this paper. The Blagurana say they did everything in the set time period and it was the player who in the end decided to join Real Madrid for sporting reasons.
Jorge had visited La Masia with his family and seemed poised to wear Barcelona colours, but it did not end up like this and he will play for Real Madrid's Cadete A side.
