Barcelona's Pedri called up by Spain U21s but Riqui Puig left out
Riqui Puig had been included in past U21 squad for the Rojita
Spain U21 coach Luis de la Fuente has named his squad for games against the Faroe Islands (Nov. 12) and Israel (Nov. 17), with Barcelona duo Pedri and Iñaki Peña getting the nod, but Riqui Puig left out.
Barça midfielder Riqui Puig has been called up by De La Fuente for past squads but on this occasion has been dropped, presumably because of his lack of action at club level.
Spain have already booked their place at next summer's U21 European Championships, which will be played in Hungary and Slovenia.
MARBELLA
La 'Rojita' will train at the Marbella Football Centre with both games to be played in Marbella. They host the Faroe Islands on Nov. 12 at 19h and Israel on Nov. 17 at 18.45h.
In the qualifying phase so far they have won seven games and drawn one of their eight games played.
