The Catalan club must decide what happens with Busquets, Roberto, Bellerin and Dembele

February will be a month of big decisions about the players whose contracts are expiring at Barcelona. The Catalan club have strictly followed their planning priorities, closing strategic renewals such as Balde's, Iñaki Peña's and Marcos Alonso's. Now, in the coming weeks, they will discuss the futures of Sergi Roberto, Busquets and Bellerín... and Dembélé.

Busquets and Roberto have options to continue, while Bellerin has a foot and a half out of the club. Tying down Dembélé would complete the range of negotiations.

Barca have already worked through the key extensions, with Gavi and Ronald Araujo renewing. Balde, Peña and Alonso's deals will be the next to be announced.

The most special case is Busquets'. Barça will offer him the chance to stay as long as its financially possible. The captain will have to reduce his salary. Everything is open but the club will give him the option to continue.

There is more debate around Sergi Roberto. Xavi is happy to renew him on his low salary. He values his versatility and experience in the dressing room. The player also wants to stay, but there are doubts elsewhere in the club. Bellerin's case is more straight forward. He signed for one year and will leave in June.

Barça will also begin talks to renew Dembele, who is out of contract in 2024. Barça want to tie him down for longer.
