Barcelona will have competition for Fabio Blanco
There are various European sides trying to lure the out of contract Valencia winger
The future of Valencia youngster Fabio Blanco increasingly appears like it will be away from Los Che. Barca are interested in the 17 year old right winger, who has been compared to Ferran Torres. The idea of signing him would be a strategic move, like buying Pedri Gonzalez was back in the day.
Former Valencia director general Mateu Alemany, now at Barca, knows the player well. He will be one of Joan Laporta’s two right-hand men, his director of football, even though it’s not official yet.
Half of Europe are following Blanco’s footsteps, Real Madrid, Milan, Juve, Dortmund, Marseille… however per SuperDeporte, the team closest are Eintracht Frankfurt. His contract is up at the end of the season.
It’s clear many clubs want him and he’ll have to choose the most attractive proposal. Not just economically but in a sporting sense too, as he looks to keep growing.
