Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano: Dest & Garcia in for Alves and Pique
Xavi makes two changes at the back but keeps the same front six
Barcelona host Rayo Vallecano on Sunday with the chance of strengthening their grip on second place and edging closer to qualification for the Champions League next season.
Coach Xavi Hernandez has picked a strong side for the game, sticking with the same front six that beat Real Sociedad on Sunday in the absence of Pedri and Ansu Fati: Busquets, Gavi and Frenkie de Jong in midfield, Ferran, Dembélé and Aubameyang in attack.
However, there are changes in defence, with Sergiño Dest coming in at right-back for Dani Alves and Eric Garcia replacing Gerard Pique to partner Ronald Araujo, who's fit after hurting his knee. Alves and Pique make the bench.
